ii) To directly domesticate polyploid rice species with outstanding characeristics, through biotechnology

Oryza, an ancient genus with some very recent species: adocumented scenatio for the emergence of the CCDD Oryza genome in America less than 200 years ago involves a presumed genomic shock.
